2017 Teen Summer Reading Program GWINNETT PUBLIC LIBRARY What is the Teen Summer Reading Program? It’s a fun and free way to encourage teens to read. Reading during school vacation helps maintain and even improve reading skills, and it’s a great way to explore new interests. From May 3 through August 12, 2017, readers of all ages can set a goal, keep track of their reading activities, and collect great prizes. Look for special incentives and programs to keep the excitement going all summer long! How to register for Teen Summer Reading Program: 1. Go to gwinnettpl.beanstack.org 2. Select “register an individual or family” 3. Select “I would like to register myself” the other option is for family accounts 4. Enter the requested data a. User name - we suggest your GCPS student ID b. PIN - we suggest MMDD of your birthday c. Library Branch - select the branch closest to your school d. Grade - the grade the child will be in August 2017 (rising grade) e. School - school the child will attend in August 2017 (rising grade) After inputting the data, the reader will automatically be enrolled in Teen Summer Reading Program and s/he will have earned the first badge and prize! Stop by any library to claim the prizes earned. Go to Challenges and Set Your Reading Goal for the Summer. When you meet that goal, enter the number in the box and come to the library to select your FREE BOOK. Other great prizes like tickets to the Gwinnett Braves or a gift card can be earned by logging your reading minutes and completing other learning challenges.
